Dr. Bauer is affectionately known by her patient's as Dr. Grace. She is a Saint Petersburg native and has been in the dental field for her entire working career from: reception, orthodontic assisting, managing, dental hygienist, and now currently as our dentist. Because of her passion for dentistry, She has never stopped working toward and attaining her dental knowledge. She likes working with patients' health needs and providing ways to attain better overall health. The mouth is not an island! It is connected to the entire body. She aspires to look deeper into her patient's entire health and well being to obtain maximized oral health.
Dr. Bauer takes pride in being thorough and giving patients the tools to help with deciding their best suited dental needs together. She advocates for volunteering in the community and has volunteered in many dental and other volunteer opportunities in the community such as: Smile St. Pete, St. Petersburg Free Dental Clinic, PARC, to name a few. This has been instilled since she was in St. Petersburg College dental hygiene school. She has been dedicated to volunteering ever since. Education is very important to Dr. Bauer and she is involved in expanding her knowledge through further education. NYU AEGD expanded residency has provided advanced courses in all areas of dentistry, as well as, courses on implant dentistry. She has a master's certification in Implant dentistry through Hiossen, biology bachelors for USF, Dental Hygiene certification from SPC and her DMD degree from LECOM School of Medicine.
Dr. Bauer believes in Dr. Keenan's legacy and wants to continue to be a dentist for her community. When she is not in the office, Dr. Bauer likes being in nature , hiking, biking, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
A Tribute to Dr.Keenan
Dr. Robert P. Keenan practiced dentistry in Saint Petersburg for over 50 years. He was originally from Ohio and served in the Navy. After his time served in the Navy as a dentist, he joined the private sector here in Saint Petersburg. Over the years, Dr. Keenan not only treated hundreds of patients, but generations of families.
He was a generous, honest and fair man that did business with a hand shake and a smile. His heart was huge, his humor great and always wore a smile. Our community lost Dr. Keenan on January 10th, 2022. He left behind a countless number of patients, friends and family that will forever feel a great loss.
